Another successful year. Congratulations to all the curlers and thank you to those that make this event possible.

The Esquimalt Charity Bonspiel is organized by the Senior Select Leagues as a way to raise funds for various charities within Esquimalt. Country Grocer is the lead, generous, sponsor and there are some anonymous sponsors who want to give back to the community. The League executive will decide each year on which organizations receive support. In 2024 the donations were $1200 to both the Macauley School lunch program through Country Grocer, and the Rainbow Kitchen. Funds remain for a fall 2024 donation to an as yet unnamed charity. The event’s focus is to end the curling year having fun by mixing curlers from various leagues and raising charity support.
